Music Director Carlo Ponti and family deeply saddened by the passing of the King of Pop.

            The Ponti family had the honor of considering the late musical icon a close friend. Maestro Ponti, conductor and music director of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra, recalls with great fondness many fun filled moments passed in the company of Mr. Jackson and especially of being invited in 1988 by the visionary performer to personally accompany him during his ‘Bad’ Tour that spanned cities across the world.

            Ponti and his family are “devastated by his passing, but will find solace in knowing that his musical genius and artistic legacy will shine on for generations to come."
